The Climate Justice Assembly is a dynamic platform dedicated to advancing dialogue, collaboration, and collective action on climate justice in Bangladesh. It brings together policymakers, activists, researchers, and climate-affected communities to address the urgent challenges of climate change, fossil fuel dependency, and the transition toward renewable energy.
Organized annually by Dhoritri Rokhhay Amra (DHORA) in collaboration with national and international co-organizers, the Assembly serves as a powerful platform for sharing knowledge, building solidarity, and shaping people-centered solutions. The platform amplifies the voices of vulnerable and frontline affected communities, ensuring their perspectives are at the heart of climate decision-making.
Through this website, visitors can explore event highlights, schedules, speakers, and key thematic discussions, including climate finance, just energy transition, community resilience, and social justice. It also serves as a repository of declarations, outcomes, and demands emerging from each Assembly.
Since its inception in 2023, the Climate Justice Assembly has grown into a large-scale, influential gathering. The first Assembly was held in 2023, followed by subsequent convenings in 2024 and 2025 each contributing to a stronger, more unified call for equitable climate policies, global accountability, and transformative action.
This platform stands as a hub for knowledge-sharing, mobilization, and advocacy—working toward a sustainable, inclusive, and climate-just future for all.
